Ventus Australis is the sistership to Stella Australis and has been designed with excellent manoeuvrability to enabale exploration of even the tightest of channels.
Ventus Australis is Latin for “Southern Wind”, which characterises Tierra del Fuego’s distinctive weather. For a long time, Patagonia’s windy reputation had determined the region’s socio-cultural development and that so impressed the early mariners who sought to explore her southernmost waterways.
