M/V Sea Spirit is a vessel we have enjoyed spending time onboard. She is an impressive, elegant and well equipped expedition vessel, with more than a touch of classic grandeur and the most spacious and well appointed cabins of any ship of her size.  She is equipped with stabilisers for smooth sailing in both Antarctica and the Arctic and can carry a total of 114 passengers.

There are a variety of different cabin types for passengers to choose from, 15 of which have their own private balconies, perfect for surveying the breathtaking polar landscapes.  Cabins are very spacious, with the smallest being a generous 215 square feet and the largest being 550 square feet.  Each cabin has an exterior view, en-suite bathroom, satellite phone and a flat screen TV / DVDsystem.

Public areas include a restaurant, bar, outdoor bistro, library, gym, hot tub, infirmary, elevator and polar boutique.  There is also a multi-purpose presentation room with state of the art equipment, perfect for evening discussions and group meetings.  There is an open bridge policy so that you can talk to the captain and officers and watch the landscapes from this special angle.

"The trip was exactly as expected. The Ship (Sea Spirit) is very smart but the people and crew were 'normal' no 'cruise' in sight (ha ha).....we would recommend this ship again. The rear access to the zodiacs was easier than the egress down the side of the ship we have experienced before.

We were  provided with excellent staff, the 'experts' were excellent at delivering informative evidence based talks in a way all could understand and gain knowledge from and did it in a fun way. We had our adventure and they made that exciting because they were excited.

We were able to visit Elephant Island which amazed everyone (some staff had tried 27 times to do so). South Georgia was impressive and we made 7 landings, and a couple of zodiac cruises in fjords usually out of bounds because of the weather.
