Douglas Mawson

Douglas Mawson is a brand new state-of-the-art purpose built expedition cruise vessel. Named after legendary Australian geologist and explorer, the ship embodies Mawson's pioneering spirit and is set to embark on a number of adventurous itineraries upon her launch in 2025.

She boasts the revolutionary Ulstein X-BOW® and enhanced sustainability features, with the capacity to carry 154 passengers on a journey of a lifetime to some of world's wildest areas in comfort and style.  With 11 cabin categories to choose from, she also has the benefit of offering single cabins.

Aside from the spacious cabins, to further enhance passenger's onboard experience, Douglas Mawson features a host of amenities to help you relax and connect with fellow passengers. An outdoor heated swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's and sauna are the ideal remedy after a long day explore off the ship. Meanwhile the gym, Citizen Science Centre, library and multiple observation areas are perfect places to frequent on sea days.

With two restaurants to choose from, passengers are well catered for. Tea, coffee and snacks are available 24 hours a day, meanwhile the chef offers different menu options and courses for each meal.  The evening meal includes a range of wine, beers and soft drinks.
