Island Hopping Yacht Safaris
Seychelles
2026 & 2027
The island is surrounded by rich waters, full of a diversity of marine life, including a coral barrier reef and granite cliffs. The coal here is in very good health and as such there are many good dive sites here. The current can sometimes be strong, limiting the opportunities for swimming and other water sports.
Situated in very close proximity to the Labriz Silhouette hotel lies Anse La Passe, a beautiful, long, narrow stretch of beach, ideally suited for both swimming and sunbathing. The beach is fringed with trees, which offer welcoming shade from the sun; meanwhile there is also a shop and restaurant just a short walk away.
Anse Lascars beach is located within a picturesque cove on Silhouette's eastern side. It is a glorious white sandy beach, framed by granite boulders and palm trees, while shells and corals line the shore. It is best accessed via the footpath from La Passe. The beach is renowned for being the final resting place of 30 Arab sailors, whose dhow was wrecked on the island years before it was originally settled on by man. It is believed that the sailors' ancient tombs are situated in the vegetation behind the beach. It is an ideal beach for both swimming and sunbathing, with a convenient restaurant located nearby.
