New for June 2019, Aqua-Firma will be running a Komodo Manta Ray Research, Coral Triangle & Dragons expedition. Leaders will be co-Founder of the Marine Megafauna Foundation (MMF) & professional Photographer, Dr Simon Pierce; and Aqua-Firma Marine Scientist & former Reef Check representative in Indonesia, Charlotte Caffrey.
Aqua-Firma has been operating Whale Shark and Manta Ray Research & Photography expeditions around the globe for the past 12 years - trips which provide important financial support to international researchers and local teams in Madagascar, Mexico and Tanzania. One of the MMF's research priorities in Komodo is assessing the impacts of microplasics on Manta Rays.
