The island is fringed by seven stunning beaches, each boasting beautiful white sand and a frame of iconic granite boulders.  Undoubtedly, one of Frégate's and arguably the world's most magnificent beaches is that of Anse Victorin.  The beach is characterised by its expanse of powdery white sand and backdrop of lush green vegetation.  It is an ideal beach for both swimming and snorkelling and the ultimate location for pure relaxation and escapism. 

Grande Anse, which accounts for the largest stretch of sand on the island, is located on Frégate's western side and is renowned for being a favoured nesting site for hawksbill turtles. 

For those seeking a secluded beach and complete privacy, Anse Macquereau is the perfect choice.  Look out for the 'Do not Disturb' sign!  Not only does this beach offer complete seclusion and escapism, it also boasts some rather impressive rock formations. 

A rather conveniently located beach is that of Anse Bamous.  The beach is  just a short distance from Frégate House, which serves a range of food and snacks  as well as offering a full bar service.

For those interested in Frégate's pirating history, they may like to pay a visit to Anse Park.  This secluded beach is situated on the south-eastern coast and was used as a safe anchoring bay for pirates in the late 17th and 18th century. 

One of the best spots on the island for swimming is Marina Beach, which is situated alongside the marina and protected by cliffs.

Anse La Cour is a quintessentially white sandy beach, located close to the airstrip, the ideal place to go for a stroll and sock up the atmosphere. 

The north of Frégate boasts the island's best diving locations, Chimney Rocks, where a dazzling array of marine life can be found.
