Silfra Snorkelling & Caving

After being being picked up from your accommodation in Reykjavik you will be taken to Leiðarendi cave.  Leiðarendi displays the typical features of this most common type of lava cave in Iceland. It is full of utterly weird and wonderful rock formations as well as a splattering of amazing colors. Even though at some points inside the cave you will have to climb and crawl a little, this cave tour is an easy one that can be undertaken by everyone who feels comfortable in confined spaces and is fit to take a short hike. Please make sure to bring good shoes.

You will then be driven to the Þingvellir National Park and get geared up for your unique snorkelling experience in the fascinating Silfra Fissure.

Dressed up in a warm and cosy body suit, drysuit, gloves and headpiece, all you need next is to adorn your mask and snorkel, take a deep breath and to slip down into the gin clear waters of Silfa. The water is so pure you can even take a sip if you get thirsty!

The Silfra fissure is one of Iceland's best-kept secrets, an otherworldly scene that is world famous for its heavenly shades of blue.  The crystal clear water in the deep fissure gives you the surreal feeling of being weightless as you float down with the lazy current, where you will have unobstructed views of this underwater wilderness.

Frequently rated as one of the world's top ten dive sites, the Silfra offers up to 100 meters of underwater visibility and is located on top of the separation between Europe and America.
