North Island boasts three main beaches, including Grand Anse, Anse d'East, and Petit Anse.  Grand Anse is situated on the western side of the island, protected by coral reefs and is home to the island's only Barrington Trees, which drop their delicate pink flowers into the sand.  Just a short walk along the beach will lead you to the Sunset Bar, a quaint and rustic bar, perched just above the high tide mark, serving drinks and light snacks throughout the day.

Anse d'East is situated on the eastern side of the island and  is also the location of the North Island Resort, which is built around the bay.  Although quite a bit smaller, Petit Anse is also worth visiting, which is situated on North Island's south eastern coast.

North Island offers excellent snorkelling opportunities, with masks and fins available from the dive centre.  Snorkelling can be done independently or in the company of a staff member, who can take guests to the best snorkelling spots and share with them their knowledge and first-hand experience.

Also available for guest use are kayaks, enabling guests to take some time out to peacefully explore the island from a different perspective.

A number of dive sites have been identified around North Island and its closest neighbour Silhouette.  The island's dive centre can provide guided scuba dives for experienced divers as well as provide PADI open water dive courses.  The dive centre is fully equipped with BCD's, regulators, wetsuits, fins and masks, although guests will need to bring their own hard or soft gear.

There are also opportunities for fly-fishing, with rods, tackles and flies available for guest use.
