Visit the world’s northernmost craft brewery! Svalbard Bryggeri was opened in 2015 by Robert Johansen after a 6 year effort to change an old Norwegian law from 1928 which prohibited the production of alcoholic beverages in the Svalbard Archipelago. The brewery now produces 10 different beers using melt water from the 2 mile long Bogerbreen glacier.
 

During your tour you will learn about the history of the brewery and the brewing process, as well – of course – as beer tasting! You will taste five of their specialities: usually this is the Weissbeer, Pilsner, Pale Ale, India Pale Ale and Stout.
