Hiking Amidst Iceland’s Hot Springs

This day trip will begin by hiking from the outskirts of Hveragerði, a town characterised by hot springs and flowers, into the beautiful valley of Reykjadalur.  From here you will witness the hot water, which rushes down the slopes of the Hellisheiði mountain range and creates the ideal place to relax in an untouched natural hot stream.

Reykjadalur valley also has an amazing abundance of geothermal springs and you will witness everything from small gurgling melting pots to vibrant super heated pools of water.

After strolling along these wonders of nature you will hike back down into the town of Hveragerði.  This is an enjoyable half-day trek that everyone can participate in.
