Introduction
Cousine is situated approximately 6 km from the west coast of Praslin and is a privately owned nature reserve and resort.  A secret haunt of the rich and famous, Cousine is an island like no other and no ordinary resort, offering a completely exclusive island experience. 

A proportionate amount of the island's appeal derives from its unique combination of exclusivity, privacy and luxury.

In order to access the island, all guests arrive by helicopter.  However, with advanced notice, we may be able to arrange a visit to the island via one of our Natural History Private Yacht & Lodge Safaris.  Alternatively, we can provide you with a private skippered yacht charter.

Conservation and environmental wellbeing stand at the forefront of Cousine's island philosophy.  The minimisation of adverse human impact is of utmost importance and as such there are just four individual and unobtrusive villas. 

 

The villas are spaced a good distance apart, just a few metres from the glorious white sandy beach.  They are of a beautiful old French Colonial design, accommodating a maximum number of ten guests at any one time.  They offer very high quality accommodation, providing not only seclusion and privacy, but an escape from reality and of the hustle and bustle of other island resorts.
