Iguazu, Rainforest and Tierra Del Fuego National Park

Without adding a huge amount of time to your trip it is possible to witness the incredible diversity Argentina has to offer. This extension to your Voyage will take you to the tropical north of the country to the world heritage site of Iguazu Falls, its ranks of falls a truly awe inspiring sight. You will be guided through the park where orchids and humming birds can be found alongside vistas of the 275 falls, 260 degrees worth at one point!  This butterfly and bird filled tropical vegetation of the equatorial zone contrasts thrillingly with the deep south of Argentina, where the continental tip breaks up into a mass of windswept and wild islands known as Tierra del Fuego.

Tierra del Fuego, is the most southerly point of the South American continent and it is split between Chile and Argentina. Ushuaia sits on the shores of one of the largest islands 'Isla Grande' where the Beagle channel lies beneath glacier filled mountains. One marvels at the hardiness of the unique flora and fauna found in this giant wilderness where the clean waters all around, reflect the vast sky and moor-like landscapes. The soft autumnal colours softly fade in the long evenings of the Austral summer and prepare you for your journey south, to the White Continent and 24hr daylight.

This journey also incorporates time in the charismatic, colonial city of Buenos Aires, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and vibrant cities in South America where each barrio has something different and unique to offer.
