This is the highlight of what we do and our focus is on a combined Diving, Ecology & No-Touch Photography experience. This is a two location diving experience. In the Bunaken Marine National Park, Manado, the highlight is the coral reefs surrounding a group of islands in the deep waters of the Celebes Sea. Part of what you will learn here is why these reefs are so well preserved whilst so many others in the region have been severely damaged by reef bombing and cyanide fishing. You will also have the chance to dive on two types of reef repair systems: Ecoreefs and Reef Balls, to see how they work and how marine life has recolonised areas once damaged. No-touch photography techniques are something we feel is extremely important in the age of cost effective housings for digital cameras. Regrettably, with more recreational divers now owning underwater cameras, diver damage to coral reefs is on the increase as divers rest on corals to zoom in on photographic opportunities. Bunaken and Lembeh are some of the best underwater photography locations you will visit, which is why this is a particular good place to run a course of this kind.
